Last week, Finnish government made a decision for construction of hydrogen pipelines by energy company Gasgrid Finland and the company’s subsidiary VetyVerkko. While there are some legal questions in forming corporation for such purpose and with this kind of structure, there may be also numerous legal challenges regarding operations of the company and all parties involved. However, this is an important step in clean energy field toward hydrogen economy. The project has great potential to increase hydrogen production and export in Finland, and accelerate the hydrogen economy, enabling storing, distribution and use of electric power widely.
